Background

Alberto Martinez has been Head of the Systems Division since October 2024. This division includes flatbed laser machines, automation and software, sales and the associated development, as well as product management. He has been a member of the Executive Board since January 2022 and has headed the Software Service Competence Center since joining the company in 2018 and the Solution Center since 2020. Before joining Bystronic, Alberto Martinez worked as a software developer at Lantek, initially as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) from 1999 and most recently as CEO from 2004 to 2018. He has in-depth knowledge of the sheet metal processing industry and more than 25 years of experience in the software sector.
